They have started mining the Mount Marion lithium deposit southwest of Kalgoorlie, which is the world’s second largest deposit of hard rock lithium. CEO, Christopher Reed, says Australia has ramped up the supply of lithium and there are products other than batteries that require the mineral, such as glass and ceramics.
