They always say that in a gold rush you’re better off selling picks and shovels – what we’ve had in the last few years is a coffee rush, and Silver Chef is selling the metaphorical picks and shovels, which is the coffee machines of course. They don’t actually sell them, they finance them. They were founded 30 years ago during the home delivery pizza boom. Alan Kohler spoke to their CEO Damien Guivarra to find out what’s in store for the future.
